Stay in touch with friends, family, and colleagues anywhere you have a WiFi connection. With touchTXT by AIM, you can send and receive text messages for free to most any SMS-capable phone. You can even send instant messages to anyone on the AIM® network, including AOL, AIM, .mac, and MobileMe users.

touchTXT features:

• Integrated with the address book on your iPhone or iPod Touch
• Manage your SMS contacts and AIM Buddies, choose Favorites, and add new contacts anytime
• See the last message from your friends directly from your SMS contacts list
• Log in once and optionally stay logged in and receive messages for up to 24 hours at a time, even when touchTXT isn't running

touchTXT is powered by the AIM infrastructure, which can reach most mobile phone subscribers in North America. To use touchTXT by AIM, you'll need an account on the AIM network, including any AOL, AIM, .mac, or MobileMe account, and a connection to a WiFi network. If you don't already have an account, you can get information on how to sign up in the app.

Note: This application operates over WiFi ONLY and will not operate over your iPhone's data connection (EDGE or 3G). iPhone users can use AIM on mobile networks, which includes IM to SMS capabilities, along with personalization, more comprehensive buddy list management and other features to help you get the most out of your AIM experience.
